Pop culture to the core

August 3, 2009

We can only hope to become famous. The popularity, the lifestyle, the money, its what dreams are made of, well at least my dreams. I am currently a 17 year old starting college with enormous ambition. I start my three year course in business administration in the fall with a feeling of excitement. But through all this I feel that I am following the heard, doing what I’m supposed to, and quite frankly, it scares the hell out of me.

I don’t want to turn into those mindless zombies that go to work everyday unhappy. I wanna be 17 forever, with music running in my veins and a taste to explore my sexuality. I wanna have pop culture to the core. Fashion, sex and music. All the time, everyday. And I’m afraid that going to college will strip me of my uniqueness. What if, are the two words that scare me the most. Because the many possibilities of ending that sentence are unimaginable, endless, thus my fear of the future is also as terrifying. But, life has to go on.

With that said, I hope that this blog, a grain a sand in a desert, will shed a light into my life and all that consumes it.

Because that’s your fame. That’s where your fame lives… my luminosity. My constant flashing light. It’s in my ability to know what I make is great. I know it is, I know it’s great, and it’s that sureness. That sureness is infectious. – Lady Gaga

To another day of greatness, in a dark and scary future….

Greg.

I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!
